Situation A thirty year old London restaurant, run the way restaurants have always been run: long hours, high team member turnover, and decisions made on instinct in the middle of service.
The work Rebuilt the operation on Scrum with Dr. Jeff Sutherland, the co-creator of the framework. Daily stand-ups before service, a visible board, and the team deciding how the room ran.
Result Team member turnover fell, morale and customer satisfaction rose, and the restaurant became more profitable. Documented in Making It Happen and presented at Agile2019.
